My intention is to create intersections of planes and objects and the space between. The forms are described by texture and/or pattern; shadow and light. Through this assemblage, the painting will communicate a sense of space. The objects of mass and space will be both hidden and revealed. They evolve from representational to abstracted forms and ideas, speaking about the journey along the way, engaging the memory of the viewer.
